On 14 March, European Commission adopted the Delegated Act on data centres under the new Energy Efficiency Directive. The Delegated Act was transmitted to the Parliament and Council for the scrutiny period.

The European Parliament approved the EPBD at its plenary sitting in Strasbourg on 12 March, with 370 votes in favour, 199 against, and 46 abstentions. The last hurdle for the EPBD recast is approval by the Member States in April.

On 1 February, the Parliament and Council reached a provisional agreement on the Directive on common rules promoting the repair of goods.

On 29 January 2024, the European Council adopted the new F-Gas Regulation. The vote by the Council closes the adoption procedure.

On 16 January 2024, the European Parliament endorsed a deal reached with the European Council on a new F-Gas Regulation with 457 votes in favour, 92 against and 32 abstentions.
