The review of ENER Lot 1 is ongoing. The review study was concluded in 2019. Draft revised Regulations were first shared with the Ecodesign Consultation Forum in September 2021, and updated drafts were shared in April 2023. Among the issues that are still being debated are requirements for reversible units and the possible introduction of third-party conformity assessment.
