<p>The consultation on the Future Buildings Standard: 2021 has resulted in changes to Part L (conservation of fuel and power) and Part F (ventilation) of the Building Regulations for non-domestic buildings and dwellings; and overheating in new residential buildings. </p>

<p>Last Wednesday, 15 December 2021, the European Commission adopted and published a proposal for a recast Energy Performance of Building Directive (EPBD) and its Annexes, together with the Impact Assessment documentation.  The proposal is open for feedback until 16 February 2022.</p>

European Accreditation in coordination with the European Commission has clarified that there is no equivalence between UKCA and CE marking. More details in the publication dated 8 December 2021.
