The European Commission issued the first of a series of guidance documents to support Member States in transposing the recast EPBD. This first guidance concerns the phasing out of financing for stand-alone fossil fuel boilers from 2025.

The new Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2473 was published on 20 September 2024 on the Official Journal of the European Union. It lays down the rules of the F-Gas portal and repeals the previous Regulation (EU) 2019/661.

The EU Commission (DG GROW) is carrying out an evaluation to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, coherence and added value of the Directives 2014/68/EU on Pressure Equipment (PED) and 2014/29/EU on Simple Pressure Vessels (SPVD).

On 11 September, with Implementing Decision (EU) 2024/2397, the Commission published the reference of the harmonised standard EN ISO 23953-2:2023 on the Official Journal of the European Union in support of the Regulations (EU) 2019/2018 and (EU) 2019/2024.

The new Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2215 was published on 09 September 2024 on the Official Journal of the European Union. It establishes requirements for the certificates of natural and legal persons pursuant to the Regulation (EU) 2024/573.

The new Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2195 was published on 05 September 2024 on the Official Journal of the European Union. It determines the format for submitting the reports of data referred to in Article 26 of Regulation (EU) 2024/573.
