On 10 October 2022, the European Parliament’s ENVI committee published its draft report on the Revision of the F-Gas Regulation.

<p>The EC DG-Energy published its assessment of shares on renewable energy sources (RES) in each Member State (MS) and in the European Union (EU) for the year 2020. Major findings on the shares of RES can be found in there.</p>

<p>Several changes took place in the lead EP ENVI Committee: New lead Rapporteur appointed, and new Shadow Rapporteur to be appointed soon.</p>

<p>The EU statistical pocketbook 2022 on EU energy in figures has been recently published. Major findings on the EU energy sector can be found in there.</p>

<p>The first trilogue meeting on the recast of the Renewable Energy Directive (RED III), took place and a short update from the reporting back on the negotiations in the EP ITRE and the Council is summarised here.</p>

The EU agency CINEA has commissioned Ricardo to collect evidence on EU-funded energy efficiency related market surveillance projects to assess their impacts and effectiveness. The resulting report was published in July 2022.

The European Commission DG GROW launched the call for evidence and a public consultation questionnaire on its upcoming proposal for a European Critical Raw Materials Act. The public consultation ends on 25 November 2022.
