Meet our new Policy Officers: Franziska and Utku

We are very happy to welcome Franziska Mohr and Utku Gülek to the Eurovent team in Brussels. They will strengthen our capacity to represent the European HVACR industry across a growing range of EU policy files.

Franziska will focus mainly on building and energy policy, working on files such as the EPBD, indoor environmental quality, heating and cooling policy and data centre sustainability. She joins us with experience in EU energy policy and association work and, outside the office, she is equally comfortable running, cycling, hiking or playing squash.

Utku will focus mainly on digitalisation and competitiveness, including cybersecurity, industrial policy, CBAM, Taxonomy and public procurement, while also taking on part of our environmental policy work. He already knows his way around Brussels policy circles, speaks Turkish, English and Italian, and brings plenty of experience working across different cultures and stakeholder groups. Utku is social, outgoing, and loves travelling and going to concerts and festivals with his friends.
