Eurovent Secretary General received honour to present during CR Forum in Shanghai
Shanghai, 12 April 2017. As the-first ever association from Europe, Eurovent has received the honour to give a keynote presentation at the renowned CR 2017 Forum during the Opening Reception of the China Refrigeration Expo in Shanghai. In a well-received speech, Eurovent Secretary General Felix Van Eyken has elaborated on the ‘past, present and future’ of HVACR legislation technologies in Europe, with a focus on the heating sector and heat pumps.
The CR Forum traditionally opens the China Refrigeration Expo and was attended by close to 300 people. Next to Felix Van Eyken, high-ranking Chinese representatives presented including, among others, Mr You Yongzhi (Director of Research, Chinese Development Research Centre of the State Council), Mr Wang Yuanhong (Chef Economist, Chinese State Information Centre) and Mr Wu Desheng (Director of the Expert Committee of CR Expo).
‘It is a great honour for me to be invited to speak at this year’s CR Forum.’ Stated Felix Van Eyken (Secretary General, Eurovent Association) at the beginning of his presentation. ‘In times of global economic uncertainties, we are grateful that the cooperation between China and Europe is developing more positively than ever, for the mutual benefit of both sides. Together with our partner associations CAR and CRAA in China, we are committed to further strengthening our long-established cooperation in the HVACR sector.’
This year, the China Refrigeration Expo is celebrating its 30-year anniversary and today constitutes one of the world’s largest HVACR-related exhibitions. For the fourth year in a row, the Eurovent Association is taking part in the show with a European delegation, which is in 2017 led by Eurovent Vice-President Mr Karsten Fuchs (ebm-papst Mulfingen).
