Brussels, Skovlunde, 11 October 2022. ABB, one of the leading manufacturers of drives, motors and controls for HVACR, has become an official BridgeBuilding Contributor (sponsor) of the 2022 Eurovent Summit taking place from 25 to 28 October in Antalya, Türkiye.

ABB is a technology leader serving industries and infrastructure, including HVACR applications, with world-class drives, motors, controls, and service. Having a global footprint, ABB supports its customers and partners across the world, helping them improve energy efficiency, productivity, and safety of their operations. Since its foundation more than 130 years ago, ABB has been highly focused on sustainable solutions and energy efficiency and is at the forefront of the digital revolution of most cities and infrastructure. ABB has committed to partner with its customers and suppliers to reduce their emissions and to achieve carbon neutrality in its own operations by 2030.

Frank Taaning Grundholm, ABB’s Vice President of Global HVACR Sales, stated: “We need to start including sustainability requirements in our buildings specifications and ensure that solutions enable serviceability and circularity.” He further added: “The Eurovent Summit will bring both European and global HVACR representatives together in finding market, design and regulatory solutions for our common goals. We look forward to creating new relations with other manufacturers, associations and even lobbyists.”

This year’s EUROVENTSUMMIT is co-organised with ISKID, the Turkish Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers’ Association. It aims at #BuildingBridges between manufacturers and consultants, planners, installers, trade associations and policymakers between Europe, the East and beyond, toward more sustainable and circular products and a more socially and environmentally responsible industry.

Highlights include the Eurovent Innovation/HUB focused on the link between innovation and sustainability, a high-level policy panel presenting visions for the future of product efficiency from different stakeholders, a special honorary event ‘Legends of Eurovent’, a panel discussion on the future of industry exhibitions in the post-pandemic world, and a parallel seminar programme organised by ISKID and TTMD (in English and Turkish). Registration for the 2022 EUROVENTSUMMIT is live. Hotel rooms at the dedicated Summit hotel are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and discounted flights can be purchased via Turkish Airlines, the Summit’s official airline.
