Eurovent has published a Recommendation focusing on factors influencing performance of Energy Recovery Components in Air Handling Units. This Code of Good Practice was developed in a joint effort by the participants of the Eurovent Product Group ‘Energy Recovery Components’ (PG-ERC).

<p>Eurovent Market Intelligence (EMI), the European Statistics Office for the HVACR market, has just published the results of its data collections on 2020 sales in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region, based on data collected from a large number of manufacturers in the sector.</p>

Eurovent’s Product Group ‘Residential Air Handling Units’ (PG-RAHU) has just published the first release of its Guidebook on Residential Heat Recovery Ventilation Units. On 44 pages, the free-of-charge publication provides a comprehensive overview of all essential information on this important technology. The Guidebook was prepared in cooperation with REHVA (Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Associations).

<p>From 28 September to 02 October 2021, the Eurovent Team is going to be at ISK-SODEX 2021 – one of the largest international exhibitions for HVACR, insulation, pumps, valves, fittings, water treatment, fire prevention, pools and solar energy systems. Eurovent will be at your disposal for requests concerning legislation, standardisation and general industry developments throughout all exhibition days.</p>

<p>Eurovent is looking for a new Technical and Regulatory Affairs Officer! Eurovent is the European Industry Association for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies. Our association acts as a bridge between our members and the EU institutions to enable safe and reliable heating, cooling, and ventilation technologies to contribute to the EU’s climate neutrality ambitions. We represent more than 1.000 organisations from over 30 countries, most of which are SMEs.</p>

<p>Brussels, 09 September 2021. The long awaited Eurovent Recommendation 6/16 has been published. Developed by the Eurovent product Group ‘Air Handling Units’ (PG-AHU), this Code of Good Practice focuses on the corrosion protection of Air Handling Units. The document is freely available to the public.</p>

<p>The important players of the industry continue to take their place at the International ISK-SODEX, the leading HVAC&R industry meeting point of the Eurasia Region to be held at Tüyap Fair Congress and Convention Centre between September 29 and October 2, 2021. Healthy Air Conditioning Systems, which are on the agenda of the whole world with the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, will also form the focal point of the ISK-SODEX.</p>

<p>As COVID-19 travel restrictions ease in most European countries, some activities have gradually resumed. From September onwards, events in different countries can now be attended in person with a few border entry requirements. <p>The organisers of CIAR 2022 - XVI Ibero-American Congress on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration are inviting proposals for papers to be presented during the event. Interested potential speakers are invited to submit a 150-word abstract in English, Spanish, or Portuguese on the CIAR 2022 online submission platform before 1 October 2021. CIAR 2022 will take place in Lisbon, Portugal from 4 to 6 May 2022.</p>

<p>Following the ISO approach, to safeguard the health and wellbeing of Eurovent members and partners during the COVID-19 pandemic and to provide for certainty regarding planned meetings, it has been decided to continue hosting all Eurovent meetings virtually until 30 September 2021. Further updates will be communicated to members in due time.</p>

<p>Mr Peter Müller is sadly no longer with us. The Chairman of the Eurovent Product Group ‘Energy Recovery Components’ suddenly passed away on 07 July 2021 at the age of 53. Peter was an active contributor to the Eurovent activities for many years and one of the leading European experts in the field of energy recovery.</p>

<p>Warm welcome to Ngoni Taruvinga, our new Junior Communications Officer. Ngoni recently joined the Eurovent Team to provide support in administration and communication activities. He is based in the Eurovent Regional Office Prague from July 2021.</p>
