On Monday, 28 November 2022, the European Commission held the Ecodesign and Energy Labelling Consultation Forum meeting on the review of the regulations on professional refrigeration products (Regulations EU 2015/1095 and 2015/1094).

Consultation Forum on GROW Lot 1 scheduled for 28 November
The European Commission will hold an Ecodesign and Energy Labelling Consultation Forum meeting on Monday, 28 November 2022. The meeting will deal with the ongoing review of the regulation on professional refrigeration products (Regulations EU 2015/1095 and 2015/1094).

Notes GROW Lot 1 stakeholder meeting of 13 January
The 2nd Stakeholder meeting on the review of the Ecodesign and Energy Labelling Regulations of Professional Refrigeration products took place on 13 January 2022. The introduction of possible requirements on Walk-in Cold rooms have been presented.

A draft interim report was published on the project website at the end of November. The next stakeholder meeting is scheduled for 13 January 2022.

Minutes of launch meeting revision GROW Lot 1 available
The minutes of the launch meeting of professional refrigeration regulation review have been published on the project website. The second and final meeting with stakeholders is scheduled for October 2021, to be followed by a Consultation Forum indicatively in March 2022. This may possibly lead to a revised regulation by the end of 2022.

Review of GROW Lot 1 has started
The review of Regulations for professional refrigeration equipment (e.g. storage cabinets, industrial chillers, remote condensing units) has started. The consortium to carry out the review has been appointed. The project website has been launched on 22 January 2021 and the first stakeholder meeting is set to take place soon, on 18 February 2021.
