The European Commission has opened the public consultation for the heat pumps action plan. Stakeholders can respond to the survey until 30 August 2023. Additionally, a series of stakeholder consultation events are scheduled.

The European Commission is working on a Single Market Strategy to further strengthen the EU internal market and prevent internal barriers and frictions, including several issues that affect the HVACR sector.
The EU has appointed a study consultant to evaluate best-practice support measures that promote building decarbonisation, to be financed from ETS 2 revenues.
The Commission opened the call for evidence and public consultation for the Industrial Decarbonisation Accelerator Act. The deadline for the call for evidence is 08 July 2025, and for the public consultation, it is 09 July 2025.
On 01 April 2025, the Commission published a Call for Input to seek feedback from market participants on how European companies procure and recycle certain critical raw materials and the interplay with EU competition rules.
Feedback is open on two EPBD draft proposals: a delegated act on revised methodology to calculate minimum energy performance requirements, and an implementing act on information templates for the EU Building Stock Observatory.
The Clean Industrial Act was published on February 26. It aims to ensure access to affordable energy, boost demand for decarbonised products, and stimulate private and public investment in the clean transition.
