State of play

The Ecodesign and Energy Labelling Regulations for refrigerators with a direct sales function were adopted in 2019. Both Regulations have been subject to minor amendments to clarify values and verification tolerances. It is not certain when the review study for ENER Lot 12 should start.

Recently, the Commission started the Call for evidence on the revision of the Ecodesign and Energy Labelling Regulations for refrigerating appliances with a direct sales function, Regulations (EU) 2019/2024 and (EU) 2019/2018.
