Similar to the package of energy measures presented on 30 November 2016, the European Commission aims to have a new package available by the end of 2018. This package would include, amongst others, revised Ecodesign & Energy Labelling measures for lighting, displays, household refrigerators, dishwashers, and washing machines. The revision of the motor and fan Ecodesign regulations and the Ecodesign and Energy Labelling proposals for commercial refrigeration are targeted to figure in this package too.
