Eurovent is the association of the European Heat Pump, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) industry. Our association acts as a bridge between our members and the EU institutions to enable heating, cooling, and ventilation technologies to contribute to the EU’s sustainability ambitions. Your responsibilities

As the Events Officer, you will be responsible for organising high-impact events across the full cycle, including strategy, planning, budgeting, logistics, on-site delivery, and evaluation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the organisation of key events such as the biennial Eurovent Summit, the Annual Meeting, regular working group meetings, and ad hoc thematic seminars and events
  • Develop and manage event concepts, timelines, budgets, and success metrics
  • Identify and manage venues, negotiate contracts, and coordinate suppliers
  • Collaborate with the Communications team on marketing, promotion, and outreach
  • Manage attendees, speakers, VIPs and sponsors
  • Organise invitations, ticketing, and registrations
  • Ensure smooth on-site delivery and ensure seamless attendee experiences
  • Monitor relevant external events and maintain the Secretariat event calendar
  • Plan and coordinate Eurovent’s presence and visibility at external events and exhibitions
  • Ensure events are aligned with Eurovent’s overall strategic goals

Your profile

The ideal candidate:

  • has previous experience in event management including full-cycle planning and execution
  • has exceptional project management abilities, including the ability to handle multiple timelines, priorities, and stakeholders under pressure
  • is a self-starter and self-motivated, takes initiative, and is comfortable working independently
  • knows how to manage contracts and negotiate with vendors to meet budget expectations
  • is skilled at building relationships, resolving conflicts, and representing an organisation professionally in international and diverse contexts
  • is proficient in English; other languages are a plus
  • is willing to travel frequently across Europe

A background in public affairs or policy at an association, consultancy or company is an asset.
