<p>In November 2022, Jan Holm (Product and Project Director at OJ Electronics) was nominated as (the successor of Frank Grundholm) as the newest member of the Eurovent Board of Directors. As part of our ‘The Board Perspective’ series, we obtained his view on his ambitions at the Eurovent Board, and the Environmental Product Declaration and its impact on the HVACR industry and markets.</p>

<p>During the meeting of the Eurovent Product Group ‘Evaporative Cooling Equipment’ (PG-CT) on 27 October 2022 at the Eurovent Summit in Antalya, the participants elected Laurent Petiot as Chairman and Ulf Bergmann as Vice-Chairman of the Group. </p>

<p>The Eurovent Product Group ‘Energy Recovery Components’ has published a new Recommendation 17/13 on the recommended standard for interoperability between Energy Recovery Components (ERC) DLL’s and Air Handling Units (AHU) selection software.</p>

<p>From 04 to 08 February, the Eurovent Team is going to be at the ASHRAE Winter Conference and AHR Expo in Atlanta, USA. Both the conference and expo provide forums where manufacturers and suppliers come together to share ideas and showcase the future of HVACR technology.</p>

<p>The Eurovent Product Group ‘Air Filters’ (PG-FIL) has released its new Recommendations 4/24 Energy consumption evaluation of air filters for general ventilation purposes and 4/25 Energy consumption evaluation of air filters for general ventilation in NRVUs in the context of Ecodesign.</p>

<p>The Eurovent Task Force ‘Polyvalent Units’ has elected Alberto Ferrandi (Swegon) as the new group Chairman. He will be supported by the newly elected Vice-Chairman Francesco Di Giovanni (Daikin).</p>

<p>The Eurovent Product Group ‘Air Curtains’ (PG-CUR) has published a brand-new Recommendation 16/2 on water fan heaters: Interpretation of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/2281 and Standard Rating.</p>

<p>Eurovent Market Intelligence published its latest report on the European HVACR market insights 2022, with the aim of delivering core market data while also focusing on the challenges such as component shortage and energy crisis.</p>

<p>The Eurovent Product Group ‘Air Curtains’ (PG-CUR) has elected Carsten Dittmar (Systemair) as its new Chairman and Michael Hims (Carver) as the new Vice-Chairman. The election took place during the Product Group meeting at the 2022 Eurovent Summit in Antalya, Türkiye. </p>

<p>Belimo has formally joined Eurovent as a Corresponding Member. It is one of the leading global manufacturers of innovative damper actuator, control valve, sensor and meter solutions for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.</p>

<p>Eurovent has released its new Recommendation 6/18 on quality criteria for Air Handling Units (AHUs). The document, prepared by the Eurovent Product Group ‘Air Handling Units’, provides information on various issues pertaining to requirements for AHUs.</p>
