Brussels, 20 November 2025. Eurovent and REHVA are pleased to announce the renewal of their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reaffirming their shared commitment to advancing a healthier and sustainable built environment across Europe.
This MoU signifies a renewed commitment to a long-standing cooperation. The first formal partnership between REHVA and Eurovent dates back to 1999, with improvements made in 2006 and again in 2015. This history is a testament to the strength and longevity of their relationship, which both Eurovent and REHVA aim to deepen even further in the coming years.
The Eurovent Board Member Mikael Börjesson stated: “Our renewed partnership with REHVA underscores our shared mission to create a sustainable and healthy indoor environment for all. Collaboration is key to driving innovation and harmonisation across our industry, and we will continue to promote environmentally friendly and affordable HVAC technologies together.”
In addition, the REHVA President, Livio Mazzarella mentioned: “REHVA represents through its member associations more than 120.000 building service engineers in Europe. They need to have support from the European HVAC industry to achieve their goal of a building sustainable design, as well as our industries need their feedback to improve their products. Only a close cooperation between designers and producers can drive us to a clean and sustainable built environment. This cooperation is just the natural way to respond to this fundamental need.”
Through this partnership, Eurovent and REHVA will continue to exchange technical expertise, coordinate on European policy developments, and promote best practices that contribute to the decarbonisation, health, and energy efficiency of buildings. Both organisations recognise the critical role that HVAC industry plays in achieving Europe’s climate and energy goals.
